The Stax Museum of American Soul Music is located in the heart of Soulsville USA in Memphis, Tennessee, just minutes from its numerous other attractions such as world-famous Beale Street, Elvis Presley's Graceland, the Smithsonian Rock 'N Soul Museum, Sun Studios, The Peabody Hotel, and the Cooper-Young and Overton Square entertainment districts.

The Stax Museum welcomes individuals and groups, and is available for numerous types of private parties and events.

April-October
Monday-Saturday: 10 am–5 pm
Sunday: 1 pm–5 pm

November-March
Closed Mondays
Tuesday-Saturday: 10 am–5 pm
Sunday: 1 pm–5 pm

SATELLITE RECORD & GIFT SHOP
Open Tuesday through Sunday during Museum hours.
Museum Admission not required.

ITEMS NOT ALLOWED
Parcels, umbrellas, backpacks, cameras, pets, and audio/visual devices.
