The Stax Museum of American Soul Music is located in the heart of Soulsville USA in Memphis, Tennessee, just minutes from its numerous other attractions such as world-famous Beale Street, Elvis Presley's Graceland, the Smithsonian Rock 'N Soul Museum, Sun Studios, The Peabody Hotel, and the Cooper-Young and Overton Square entertainment districts.

The Stax Museum welcomes individuals and groups, and is available for numerous types of private parties and events.

November-March
Closed Mondays
Tuesday-Saturday: 10 am–5 pm

SATELLITE RECORD & GIFT SHOP
Open Tuesday through Sunday during Museum hours.
Museum Admission not required.

Every Tuesday 1:00pm ? 5:00 pm free admission to Shelby County residents with proof of residency. Not applicable for group tours and operators of 5 or more, and not valid during holidays and special events. Children 16 and under must be accompanied by adults.
